As we step into February, we embrace Black History Month—a time to celebrate the resilience, brilliance, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. This month is not just about reflection; it’s about honoring those who paved the way and amplifying the voices of those continuing the legacy today. Dr. Carter G. Woodson’s legacy contributions continue to live on and resonate throughout our communities.

One of the most powerful figures in Black history is Malcolm X. On February 21, we commemorate his passing, remembering his dedication to justice, self-empowerment, and the fight for equality. The poetry collective ebook, “Peaceful, Powerful, and Purposeful” will release on Malcolm’s death commemoration. His words and actions continue to inspire generations, urging us to take control of our narratives, embrace our identity, and challenge injustice in all its forms.

As a poet, writer, and creator, I find Malcolm X’s legacy deeply connected to the art of storytelling. Poetry has long been a vessel for activism, and my poetry book reflects themes of strength, identity, and transformation. In the spirit of celebrating Black voices, I am also excited to announce “Pulse of Progress,” the first production from Victor Publications, coming in March 2025. This poetic visual will be a tribute to progress—honoring the past, embracing the present, and inspiring the future.

Black History Month is a celebration, a call to action, and a time of empowerment. Whether through literature, film, or activism, we continue to uplift our community and carry forward the legacies of those who came before us. Let’s use this month to learn, create, and stand together in the spirit of progress.
